Potter: I'd like to finish the job I've started
Bradford Bulls Monday 9 Jul 2012 1:09pm
Mick potter admits that he would like to finish the season as the Bulls Head Coach, although it's out of his hands.
Potter told the Telegraph and Argus last night that he doesn't know what will happen over the coming days, but he would like to finish the job that he has started.
"I don’t know what’s going to happen. No one is talking to me. I don’t want to predict it. It’s way out of our hands but ideally I’d like to finish the job I’ve started.
"If you can get a positive from this situation, it’s that the players are playing at their best. It was on show today and it was there last week."
Administrator Brendan Guilfoyle last night revealed that a consortium of local businessmen were front-runners to buy the club. Bradford currently have until tomorrow (Tuesday) to find a buyer, or the club goes into liquidation.
Guildfoyle states that he might have "quite a lot of revenue" after a 10,000 strong crowd turned out to watch the Bulls defeat London on Sunday. He has a meeting with his partners on Tuesday to discuss if "its appropriate to continue to find a purchaser". So Tuesday's deadline could well be moved on if enough people paid at the gates today.
