Player's Wages Paid On Time, Guilfoyle Thanks RFL
Bradford Bulls Friday 13 Jul 2012 6:07pm
Bradford's administrator Brendan Guilfoyle has confirmed that the club's players have received this month's wages on time.
The club raised some much needed cash from the game against London Broncos. Most of the funds to cover the wage bill came from an advanced payment by the RFL from the Sky television money, which is due next week.
Guilfoyle managed to extend the deadline to find a buyer to Friday July 27th on the condition that the RFL released the money to cover wages.
"We are extremely grateful to the Super League and to the RFL for advancing us funds to enable us to pay the July wage bill," Guilfoyle told the press earlier today.
The Bulls next game is away against the Leeds Rhinos on the Friday 20th July and should now go ahead as planned.
