(03-28-2012 08:46 AM)Saint Until I Die Wrote: Well, I think first step would be get shut of Hood and replace him with Bennett as chairman, and to look for investment. I know that latter part is easier said than done, but Hood's had nothing but sh*t reviews and this Bennett's talking negatively but also providing an alternative. I just can't see that needing this much money from the fans will lead to longer term financial stability; I might be wrong obviously, but it sounds as if they're being very wishful to me. Yes I agree, it all sounds very "wishful" ......... if the longer term financial strategy is as sound as suggested, one would think the banks would provide the short term funding required......albeit, £1m appears more than just a short term cash flow problem .....more 'up a creak, without a paddle.'. Time will tell I guess! |

RE: RFL Aid
is it not best for them that they sell all main players, get a huge wad of cash and promote the youth team. yes they'll get a few batterings and finnish bottom for a few years, but is that not better than them folding

RE: RFL Aid
They need to maintain as a business though.
Will anybody pay to watch them get battered week in week out? Do they have enough young players to promote? I don't think they have the players to get anywhere near the million they need. If they manage to get to half a mil what next? Where will they get their next half a million from. Bateman and Whitehead will be the main two clubs look at but i doubt they'd demand a huge fee. I think I'm going to ignore all this news on bradford until they release figures in just over a weeks time. |

RE: RFL Aid
Why would any club want to pay for the players when they could very possibly be available for free shortly.
