Really?!?! Not sure about that. They didn't want him in his pomp, why would they later on?

no actual evidence that they did.

Our mate Adam

Leeds Rhinos favourite to sign Canterbury forward Tony Williams for 2017, allegedly on a two year contract.

I've read Saints are favourite

Where would he play. Unless the Hall to union rumour has a bit of substance

Isn't Tony Williams that giant bloke who is a forward? (T Rex) Shouldn't be playing on the wing.

Yes he's the big fella. He's devastating on the opponent's line and a handful when the teams on top but he seems to lack a bit of grunt.
He'll be great in super league though.

I'm clearly thinking of the wrong guy then. Thought he was sort of wing/center come half.

I thought Leeds might have thrown a few young lads in for the game against Batley as surely they will get the win. But studying the league a bit closer a big score against Batley will pretty much secure Leeds' super league status.
Unlikely but there is a situation where Leigh could finish top with 12 points and Leeds Hudds and Hull KR could all finish on 10 points meaning poorest points difference in the Million pound game.
Leeds currently have the best points difference but Hudds are close behind with KR about 50 behind. Hudds have got 3 tough games though so I don't think they will improve points difference too much.
KR have 2 championship teams to play so could easily post 100 points there. So if Leeds can get a big win tomorrow they should be safe.
On the other hand there is a reversed situation where Leeds can finish top with 12 and Leigh Hudds and KR are on 10. In this situation Leigh would almost certainly finish 4th as their points difference is the worst of the top 4 teams.

Strongest side and a 100% attitude required for this game. Points difference could be vital. Lots of possible scenarios.
