i agree drso, the fact he couldnt see the job out doesnt detract from the fact that he employed the perfect tactics to win the fight.

one of the main reasons that froch is a world champ is a serious lack of deep quality in the division for yrs.

Do you see any differeng outcome if they have the rematch?

RE: Froch v Groves - sinkers89 - 11-24-2013 02:43 PM

I think Groves will win the rematch. Still dont like the chelsea rent boy, mind

Why do you think it would be different?

RE: Froch v Groves - Cheese - 11-24-2013 02:45 PM

potentially yes.

before this fight groves couldnt be certain that he actually had what it takes...now he knows for sure. that for me would signal more confidence and assuming he trains harder and gets stamina levels up he stands a great chance of taking him.

froch thought he would walk all over groves...turns out he was wrong and then some. hes the guy who will have a worry about a rematch, not groves.

RE: Froch v Groves - drsrhino - 11-24-2013 02:46 PM

But it is still just a matter of time before froch hits him again?

RE: Froch v Groves - Cheese - 11-24-2013 02:47 PM

it was froch sat on his arse in round 1 mind.

RE: Froch v Groves - drsrhino - 11-24-2013 02:49 PM

But he recovers so well.

The fight started to get away from him in RD6 when he went toe to toe. Groves is younger..just needs to stay away from 'fighting' Froch and box him. He gets into a fight with Froch and the same will happen again.

RE: Froch v Groves - drsrhino - 11-24-2013 02:52 PM

He tried to stay away. He couldnt keep the pace up.

Apart from froch getting sat on his arse in rd 1 the fight went pretty much as expected.
