crawford has gone 12 rounds and only had to do the work of 6. burns nowhere near confident enough, now busy enough. wasnt even blowing at the end. reckon the jaw is affecting him, probably psychologically more than anything.
not sure where he goes from here.

He wouldn't beat kevin mitchell fighting like that. Seriously, its time to retire.

lol, hes only 30. he needs to rediscover his motivation. his last few fights have been poor really and im not sure how he changes that... new trainer maybe/.???

i still dont see crawford as special. top 10 fair enough, but not top 3. never

He's not the same rick burns. Maybe new trainer, maybe travel away from Scotland. Dunno if it would work. I think the best ricky burns was a couple of years ago. Be tough to get that back, not sure he has the time to start again.

well, guys are fighting now at top level age 40, so i dont see it over for burns but something obviously has to change. he hasnt look motivated for a long time. hungry, aggresive. its all plodding and predictable. wasnt always that way though, so its a matter of finding that again.
doubt he will seek a rematch but as was stated after the fight, there r fights out there for him.

Joshua again impressive last night , really needs to fight some better fighters. 5 fights in and nobody has come close to hurting him.

Next step for Joshua is durable fighters. See how he reacts when they don't go away. Some handle it, other fighters panic & burn out.

In theory, by stepping up to 8 rounders, he should get a more testing opponent.

RE: Knocking One Out - Cheese - 03-02-2014 09:22 AM

has anyone thrown a punch at him yet??

RE: Knocking One Out - drsrhino - 03-02-2014 09:26 AM

Vasyl Lomachenko's attempt to claim the WBO featherweight title in only his second professional bout ended with defeat by Mexican Orlando Salido.

The 26-year-old Ukrainian, who claimed Olympic gold at both the 2008 Beijingand London 2012 Games, beat another Mexican figher, Jose Ramirez, on his professional debut in October.

But he lost a split points decision against Salido, 33, in San Antonio.

Salido did not make the weight for the fight, so the title will become vacant.

Yes, the guy in the last fight. He won't be difficult to hit and has been stopped before.
