hes knocked it back various times apparently.. he likes easy money and there r no shortage of average charlies lining up for him.

the longer it has gone on, the less likely the fight. imagine he lost his donut to an ageing and past it pacman?? could be devastating for him

I agree with cheese on the whole but mayweather has stated a couple of months ago that he has 3 fights left after the maidana. The timing is right. They could both fight November time.

The problem for Pbf is protecting that 0, the problem for manny is that he's shown some cracks in recent times & it's coincided with Pbf asking manny to take the juice tests. It was suspicious tbf with manny fighting at flyweight & within the yr beating decent welterweights & then middleweights. Pbf said he wanted manny to take a test before they fought, manny refused any drug tests, fight off. They are still both the best in the business but it's a great shame it didn't ahappen yrs ago.

Manny Pacquiao is hoping to secure a long-awaited fight with unbeaten American Floyd Mayweather after winning the WBO welterweight title.

The Filipino, 35, beat Timothy Bradley on points at the weekend.

Pacquiao, who has won world titles in eight weight divisions, said of a possible bout against WBC welterweight champion Mayweather: "The line is open 24 hours, seven days a week.

"If he wants to fight, the fight will be on."

Pacquiao and Mayweather, 37, are generally considered the best fighters of their generation.

But their camps have never been able to agree a deal over a bout, with one stumbling block being Mayweather's insistence on a strict blood-testing programme during training.

Pacquiao is expected later this year to take on the winner of the fight between Juan Manuel Marquez and Mike Alvarado who meet on 17 May.

He has fought Marquez four times and was knocked out by the Mexican in their last encounter in December 2012.

Mayweather will put his 45-fight unbeaten record on the line against Argentina's Marcos Maidana in a world welterweight title bout on 3 May

Olympic gold medallist Luke Campbell is taking a break from boxing after his father was diagnosed with cancer.

The 26-year-old bantamweight, who has won all five of his bouts since turning professional, was due to fight in Manchester on Saturday.

But he has pulled out in order to spend more time with his family.

In other news, eddie hearn says he could get malignaggi over to England to fight kell brook but brook would have to travel to face porter.
