Because it's a fight that would draw a crowd. Price isn't all he's cracked up to be. So I don't see it as a massive step up for AJ. Plus AJ looked very very conditioned and price a little less so.

I'm expecting the Thai to start kicking at some point

Price v joshua would make more money in a couple of years time.

Lol at the thai comment. He is beating up McDonnell now though.

Knocking One Out - Mr-P - 05-31-2014 06:07 PM

McDonnell cut up. Head clash I think

I think joshua still has a lot to learn. He has to be more fluid, more movement, he has to improve his left hand post jab. His footwork could be better. You can't feed him to someone like price yet. If there is a bit of laziness in his jab then price's overhand right would knock him out.

I think skelton is about right. There isn't much danger but just gives him more experience and chance to show improvement.

Joshua does some good sparring which he will learn more from than fighting at the moment. You can't rush him.

Im not saying he would get knocked out by price, just that its higher risk at this stage than it will be in a years time when he has hundreds of rounds of sparring experience in the bag. Its a learning curve at the moment, he just needs 5o tick over in the ring.

Apparently that parasite Hearn reckons he could be fighting klitschko within 18 months lol

Needs to start on 12 rounds first.

He'd have to take out sprott , fury, chisora, price before that.

Great fight. Right stoppage.

I had mitchell needing the last 2 to win.

The silly cunt didn't make weight though.

Knocking One Out - Mr-P - 05-31-2014 07:45 PM

Yeah same...

Weigh in on day of fight ie this morning. IBF say you can only be 10lbs over but Mitchell was more. IBF say he could have 2 hours to take the weight of but BBBC say you can't!

Fuck James DeGale

Well done britain. Another fighter screwed because of weird rules.
