quigg has fans?>??

not sure frampton has enough to fill old trafford.

as frampton has the big belt and more fans the fight should be in belfast.

Doesn't the arena at Belfast only hold 10k?

Just looked, 9k.....

MEN holds 21k

MEN is a cracking venue & even with about 16k fans would be buzzing. If they got a half decent undercard they'd make a decent night in there.

Reckon frampton would have too much.

they BUILT a venue just for framptons last fight!!! quiggs last fight was very poorly attended in comparison. why should frampton have top go to quiggs house to fight?/

Aye, but hearn has said that the same outdoor venue cant be used until april....money will say where the fight will go....

Its all about money. They did build a temporary stadium in belfast but it still wasn't massive. Frampton definitely has more fans but by having it in manchester or even liverpool the fight is still easily accessible for the northern irish. Its fair tto say that frampton would be the 'home' fighter even if its in England.

To be fair to Quigg he says that if Framptons camp can find a big enough venue then he has no problem going to belfast. Frampton has said that he would travel to England so the venue is the issue along with the purse split.

Don't forget that frampton left hearn and there was a bit of bad blood. Hearn is the big obstacle here. He needs to swallow his pride a bit and make the deal.

As for selling big stadia out. The fight itself would easily sell 20k with the right publicity ala groves v froch. Add in a good competitive undercard and you can easily get a few more armchair fans to turn up like they did at wembley.

Luke Campbell battling to a one-sided win here.

George Groves has to win, and do it well.

Thought groves looked poor to be honest.

Bit of an underwhelming card.

A pretty easy win for groves , rebrasse looked like he could take a few but a wins a win, a bit daft of him to call out froch again

I only caught glimpses of the groves fight through the bar hatch but by what I did see he was pretty poor and looked to be making hard work of it.
And I don't think his opponent was as good as they made out.
