RE: Fantastic - Peterson beats Amir Khan - Moc - 06-03-2013 02:02 PM Haye will be too fast I feel. It will be Nikolai Valuev fight all over again. Be amazed if Fury manages to get hold of Haye. RE: Fantastic - Peterson beats Amir Khan - drsrhino - 06-03-2013 02:23 PM Depends what size ring they use. RE: Fantastic - Peterson beats Amir Khan - whotobeA - 06-03-2013 03:18 PM Fury will keep Haye at distance for as long as he can. If Haye gets inside then the punch in that clip will be nothing. Could be good if Haye fights fury & then price. Adonis Stevenson looks very strong, destroyed chad Dawson, bellew is lining him up in what could be an epic 3/4 round brawl. RE: Fantastic - Peterson beats Amir Khan - whotobeA - 06-29-2013 09:58 AM Crolla v Rees tonight, should be a decent fight. I reckon crollas chin is gonna get tested. RE: Fantastic - Peterson beats Amir Khan - chesterhino - 06-29-2013 10:02 AM Il be surprised if rees doesnt batter him! RE: Fantastic - Peterson beats Amir Khan - whotobeA - 06-30-2013 11:33 AM Very even fight, could have gone either way. Both are destroyed by burns though IMO. RE: Fantastic - Peterson beats Amir Khan - Cheese - 06-30-2013 11:43 AM they are european level at best. RE: Fantastic - Peterson beats Amir Khan - chesterhino - 07-02-2013 11:40 AM Carl Froch has been ordered to face domestic rival George Groves - or be stripped of his IBF world title. The super middleweight, who is also the WBA champion, beat Mikkel Kessler at the O2 Arena in May to avenge one of only two career defeats. But the 36-year-old must now decide whether he wants to tackle his former sparring partner and current stablemate or give up the belt he won from Lucian Bute last year. Froch made no attempt to hide his contempt for Groves when the 25-year-old travelled to Denmark to spar with Kessler before his rematch in London. A fight was expected to be around 12 months away with Froch targeting a third meeting with his old rival or another revenge mission against American Andre Ward. But the IBF have demanded he defends his strap against Groves before the middle of October. 'Adonis Stevenson was the mandatory but got tired of waiting for the opportunity to fight Froch and moved up to light-heavyweight to box for the WBC title,' said IBF championship chairman Lindsey Tucker in The Sun. 'Under the rules, when that happens we go down the list to see who is next. 'We got down as far as Groves and he has been made our mandatory challenger for Froch. 'We have sent letters to both fighters, dated June 10, and asked them to start negotiations for a mandatory defence. 'The boxers will have until July 12 to come to an agreement. If they can’t, we will then call for a purse bid. 'The successful bidder would be notified by July 24 and we would expect the fight to take place 90 days later, which would take us to the middle of October.' Groves, who is the Commonwealth champion, has won three fights this year, all within five rounds. His latest victory came against Noe Gonzalez Alcoba on the undercard of Froch's points victory over Kessler. RE: Fantastic - Peterson beats Amir Khan - drsrhino - 07-02-2013 11:47 AM Might be a little early for groves. I think Froch has bigger fish to fry. The belt is worthless to him now. Its all about the super fights and the$$$$. |
