DP gets 5k fine for walking on pitch during a game, same sanction as pies got for breaking salary cap for fookin umpteenth time Smile

thats well out of proportion to the infraction.

Wow that is steep way too much maybe a couple of hundred quid but that's all.

The Cheyse Blair rumour is gathering momentum. Not seen much of him but we need summat as we’ve been awful this season.

Confirmed now- immediate effect. Good signing.

Watched his highlight reel & it makes him look quality, I suppose you never really know until they get here. At this moment I think owt is better than what we’re doing. Blair to Centre & Minikin back to wing. Hopefully won’t see Clare again.

The club said owt about those letting off flares at Hudds whoto?

I think the club is seeking out fans who are taking flares to games, they put some pics on the web page & said the safety team wants to have a word with them. Flares seems to be the new thing in sl crowds, seen them at a lot of games. The Wigan lot even threw one on pitch behind players when they came to ours. I think they’re more of a nuisance than a big safety problem tbf.

Don’t agree there- they are a massive safety issue. They burn at 1600oC!
If nothing else they can cause panic- and that’s not good in a crowd.
A friend of mine had a massive asthma attack after one was let off at a football match- ended up in hospital. She’d not had a proper attack in over 10 years!

Dont think they should be in the game but don’t think they’re a massive safety issue, they have been in wendyball for yrs & are in European stands every weekend, From what I’ve seen the only issue is when they’ve been thrown. The H&S will have a field day obviously but I just reckon the usual “don’t bring them, banned if caught, & so on” will do for now.
