RE: two tier SL
Terrible idea!!

Teams would lose a shed load in revenue from only 9 home games. How on earth would they make the shortfall?!

Also less games equals less sponsorship for the club and the competition.

And less tv money.

"He's the best coach I've had.His mix of man-management and his game plan is second to none.Since Brian has been in charge,we've been in every final so far.I love playing for him.I can't praise him enough,I've so much respect for him." Kevin Sinfield

Re: two tier SL
They spoke about this a few years back and at Leeds they spoke to the players and how it would affect them.
The bottom line was that with less games and less revenue players would have to take a cut.
The players went from wanting less games to being happy with the amount they were playing.
unless they can find more TV money or more from sponsors no way will this happen.

RE: two tier SL
heres an idea.

14 teams play each other once home and once away. magic weekend in manchester. top 8 playoff as is with the bottom 2 teams being relegated.

open the season with a bang (such as com shield as suggested in another thread)

the biggest change i would make is to get ALL matches either on tv or online, and more than 1 tv company.

once a rhino always a rhino
