RE: Briers to move on
Can't see it being a Super League club. He would be a great addition for any Championship club though.

Rumour I heard was signing for rovers but can't see it happening unless we take him on as player/coach and he trains that danny Nicolas up for the season after but I hope not

RE: Briers to move on
There is something about Briers i have never understood.
He pronounces his name Bree- airs , but his father , the late foul mouth comic genius and star of the good life Richard Briers pronounced it Bry- airs.
Is it a Cheshire thing ?

RE: Briers to move on
Briers can still cut it at SL level for a team at the top, however whoever takes him on will have to realsie that he won't play for a full season which is a hige gamble especially for the money he will probably want.

If he's taken on for a year, to help develop youngsters and have a coaching role then fair enough. I can see him moving to a championship team to be honest where he can go part time and reduce the stress on his body

RE: Briers to move on
Briers signed a new one year deal!!

Lee joined the club back in 1997 from neighbours St Helens making his debut in April of that year and he hasn't looked back since.
He has currently made over 400 appearances for the Wolves crossing for 152 tries, kicking 945 goals and notching up 73 of his infamous drop goals; the most recent being against Leeds Rhinos to secure a 19-18 victory in Round 21.
His points tally sits at 2571 making him the leading point scorer in Warrington's history and he holds heritage number 955.
Lee said: "I am really over the moon to have signed an extra year at Warrington. After a horrible start to the season with a neck injury I am delighted that the club has given me this opportunity to finish my career here and also further my career in youth development coaching. Even though I had offers from other clubs there was only one place I was going to sign. The fans here are second to none."

"He's the best coach I've had.His mix of man-management and his game plan is second to none.Since Brian has been in charge,we've been in every final so far.I love playing for him.I can't praise him enough,I've so much respect for him." Kevin Sinfield
