Wire prop Tyrone NcCarthy has signed with the Northern Pride in the QLD Cup. The Pride are based in Cairns and operate as a feeder team for the NQ Cows

Lee Mitchell from the Qld Cup Burleigh Bears has signed with Whitehaven

Rhys Williams from Wire joins fellow Welsh WC squadder Ian Webster at the Central Queensland Capras.

No they aren't named after legendary film director Frank Capra. They are based in Gladstone, very close to the Tropic of Capricorn and the area between Bundaberg and Rockhampton is called the Capricorn Coast.

Former HKR, Catalans and Leigh prop, Sebastien Martins has also joined the Capras.

St George Illawarra have added to their playmaking options for next season, signing Michael Witt on a one-year NRL deal.

The 29-year-old, who will rejoin the NRL after two seasons with Super Rugby and two more in the Super League, joins Gareth Widdop and Sam Williams as recruits in the halves for the Dragons in 2014.

Witt played played 90 NRL games between 2003 and 2008 in two-year stints with Parramatta, Manly and the Warriors before switching codes.

He can also cover fullback and will join the Dragons for pre-season training next week.

Not a transfer but I'm surprised nobody picked up Matt Keating from the Eels. He's gone to the Qld Cup. He's only 27 and must be fairly tough because he's only missed about 10 games in 6 years.

Hes a good player not many wingers in the world could get in front of Daniel Tupou and Tuivas Sheck

I think it'll be a good signing for them
