Raleigh facing 3 weeks out
Raleigh was poked in the eye "accidently" Which i dont believe as warrington were playing dirty all night and this has caused a tear in his right iris

RE: Raleigh facing 3 weeks out
solomona certainly went in high - only he knows whether it was intentional or not to target the eyes - but if all the high shots on Friday were accidental then smith needs to go back to basic junior training to teach the warrington players how to tackle correctly. Hope it made him (solomona)worry - first thoughts were that Andy had suffered a detached retina which could have been a very serious injury indeed it can lead to vision problems and even blindness and could have been career ending. Really pleased for Andy that its not as serious as first thought.

the future's bright - the future is claret and gold.

RE: Raleigh facing 3 weeks out
I have seen his eye first hand and it looks really sore!!! Weather it was accidental or intentional of which i think is the latter, i still think a fine of some sort should have been issued as no one should be tackled arond the head area nevermind in the eye. Should be punished in the same way as goughing as this could have cost Andy his career and solomona had already been done for a high tackle on Larne Patrick.

I wonder if the tables were turned and the giants had behaved the same way as the warrington players whether your response would be the same. Absolutely not.

Solomona purposely poked him in the eye, attempting to blind him in the process...... I somehow doubt that, but everyone is entitled to their opinions..

RE: Raleigh facing 3 weeks out
Its just the way i see it i didnt like the way warrington played to many illigal tackles for me solomona was a bad high shot but at least he apologised but morley went backwards and was a disgrace. Leeds were awful on there disipline wolfie but there tackles were not as dangerous as warringtons its just the amount of these that made me feel like there was some malice in them one yes its maybe just an accident but they were starting to add up against you i think it may have been frustration but that still doesnt mean its fine

Deliberately trying to blind him- probably not,I dont think players deliberately try to cause lasting damage, but why were his hands up near his face? To hurt him. Raleigh isn't a small guy and he was being held up by Morley. What's done is done but I hope it makes players think about possible consequences in future.
