Gale, Roberts & Milner back this wknd!!!

Won’t be match fit yet but if they get back to form we ve good comp for places at season end. Trueman will still keep his place imo.

I hope not Cheese - however the last week we had off meant a shocking first half against the pies for us.... Don't want to be having that again

Cas are cruising against Cats 12-0 so far.

18-0 at half time.

Can’t see past a Saints v Wigan final this year.

Hey si,

Really liked our control today. Catalan were game with the likes of Duport & bird back.

We showed glimpses of last yrs form & trueman, gale & milo ran the game.

What I do like is how we’re slipping right under the radar.

I think the key word there is glimpses. Whilst you’ve had a good season, you have looked hungover from the GF last year. With the players you had playing the way they were, it was a golden chance for you. And I was very sorry that you didn’t do it because you were a joy to watch both live and on tv. This season, whilst you’ve been good, it’s not been quite the same level of excitement. I appreciate your injury problems, but would they have affected you the same last season? I’m not sure they would. I do think that defeat to Leeds hit the club very hard mentally.

I’m rooting for Cas, I’d love to see you do it. But I just don’t see you or Warrington beating Saints and Wigan away from home.

Let’s hope I’m wrong eh? Except about Warrington.

Probably right, I just still think we have another opportunity this yr. last season in the week building upto ot we had the loss of zac & this set off snowball of infighting amongst the squad, no disrespect to Leeds but we were a mile off on our biggest night.

This year we have players coming back & there’s not the expectation of last season. I agree the the other 3 look like they have more quality but as we learned last yr it all about that 80 mins on the night.

It’s all down to the 80 minutes..... IF you reach the GF. Getting there is a lot more than that, as Leeds have shown countless times by winning from 5th and winning despite being big underdogs. Cas got to old Trafford by setting the league alight. Are they mentally equipped to do it again when not quite as forceful?

Of course it could easily go t’other way. Saints & Wigan have been secure for weeks, whilst you’ve had to stay focused. You might be that bit sharper.

However, it is with regret that I foresee a Saints v Wigan final. Hope I’m wrong. But I never am.
