But then they are punished twice for the same offence. I can understand things like that being taken into account when it comes to new contract time but otherwise it should be left to the rfl.

well yes it should be the same for all players, id say the club should take action by letting the player go. howell has been a drain on our club, he has only had one good season since hes came, and that was because he had dorny providing him with the ball from 3 metres out, even then he managed to knock on several times! may seem a bit unfair but id prefer the club to take action now and set an example.

I can't believe he actually appealed it. I've seen a replay of it, and he does bite down on Marginet's arm in the tackle. It was disgraceful to watch, and I don't think 6 games is long enough. They should have lengthened it for the sheer cheek of appealing!
