Satisfying end yes. I would rather hear a bit more about the beginning and the middle though. Can't say I've counted my season ticket as value for money.
We've always known the quality of these players. So what happened? According to the team, they "took a long hard look at themselves" after the Catalans away. Could have done with that a lot earlier. Perhaps after the home game against Quins would have been a marker. Away against Salford was another load of dross, and we were lucky to win.
So where they struggling to adapt to a new coach? Wigan and Saints didn't. Or did they basically disagree with the coaching and decided late on to do as they were told?
The same thing happened under Smith. I go to a few of the charity dinners, and Senior told me the form at that time wasn't down to the players.
Injuries - significant but not enough for me.

looks from an outsider that the coach won a months long battle for control of the team and its direction.
