Clear out at Wakey
Wakefield have once more rung the changes by trimming their squad by 4 in readiness for 2012. Ex-Wigan pair Josh Veivers and Stuart Howarth, New Zealand scrum-half Jeremy Smith and former Warrington winger Kevin Penny have all been released, taking the club to 15 in, 15 out in terms of their personnel for Super League XVII.
Wakefield have also promoted an academy product to their full time squad for next season. 19-year-old second-row Adam Slater, son of former Wakey player Richard, signs on a two-year deal. http://www1.skysports.com/rugby-league/n...er-changes "'SUID'? Yes... That's what they used to call me. 'Saint Until I Die'. That was my name. I am The Swede. And I come back to you now at the turn of the tide." |
