Looking like a relegation battle already
A few games in and Leeds are already in the shit.
London next. If they lose that one things have got to change quick, they are already looking at a relegation battle.
Everybody else could see the pack is lightweight why could no one up at the shed see it.

RE: Looking like a relegation battle already
They seem to be really struggling to build anything now that their generation of amazing players have all retired. Lack of foresight to see if was a problem coming?

I don’t think you will end up being in a relegation battle but long term a lot needs to change to get close to the Leeds of old.

RE: Looking like a relegation battle already
watched the live scores coming in..soon as hull scored knew that it was all over.
can't see this bloody awful team beating anyone let alone London next week.
how many games do we have to lose before action is taken.
too many just average players in the squad too lightweight,
is ferries the worst signing ever at Leeds,

and fade out ........again

RE: Looking like a relegation battle already
What action though? Would another mid season change of coaching staff really make any difference? Who would be available that would be a suitable replacement?

It looks like Leeds are currently lacking in long term planning. Keeping chopping and changing won’t help that but you can’t expect a coach to come in and make massive improvements if he isn’t given the time and control/infrastructure to do so.

RE: Looking like a relegation battle already
London are a decent outfit - was at the game when we played them the other week. Once they get up to SL speed, they will trouble and beat a few teams this year, especially at home. They are very quick and have some decent players.
Our win wasn't easy, despite what the score line suggested

Listening to our game last night it sounded like London but in a massive defensive effort, if they can keep that up and then work on the attack I can see them getting enough wins to be safe this season at least

RE: Looking like a relegation battle already
I'm not blaming Furner specifically, he can train them all you like but the players are letting us and themselves down on the pitch.
If the seniors are not pulling their weight drop them and bring some kids in.
But the otner galling thing is as Fizzo says its obvious we are still lightweight in the pack and are getting overun.
And the other worrying thing is we haven't got too many injuries at the moment.

How the senior managment at Leeds though we had a good pack is beyond me.
