RE: On Report
if they genuinely havent seen the incident there is no way for them to give yellow , red, green, white or any other color of card.
and it makes chuff all difference if the vid ref saw it, or if the lino saw it. the ref cant card unless he sees it.

On Report
(02-25-2012 11:56 AM)GavinC1995 Wrote: 'On report' should be used for minor offenses, like been caught repeatedly holding player down, after been put on report if the same player commits the same offense then the player get yellow. For offenses that are blatantly a yellow card offense the player should be given a yellow and not put on report. I think the system needs reviewing and changing, because i do think referees do use the 'on report' as a cop out to given out cards for some offenses. Don't agree with this gav- if a player is caught repeatedly holding down the ref is aware of this and the player should be given 10 minutes. For me on report is for when a referee suspects foul play but did not fully see the incident either because he was unsighted or it happened to quickly for him to be sure. the future's bright - the future is claret and gold. |
