Gateaux...

How is this good news? BBC as I see it are shite at covering any sport they have a mild interest; nevermind the tokenism interest in our game. Sky would do it better.

RE: BBC
How few games are they going to show?

RE: BBC
You only have to look at the viewing figures on the BBC to see why it's better to have the Challenge Cup on BBC than Sky. BBC has the potential to attract many casual viewers whereas Sky is generally preaching to the choir.

I don't think the Beeb are that bad. I mean Dave Woods is a good commentator and their co-commentators are usually Noble or Kear who talk more sense than Eddie and Stevo.

It might not be the best sports coverage ever but I like the CC on the BBC.

I agree cherry. Having challenge cup on bbc means that people who aren't normally interested are more likely to stumble across a game and enjoy it which is a good thing.

RE: BBC
I think it's good to have the game on terrestrial tv. Whether that's the beeb or another channel I don't mind but more people are going to watch it, if it's free.

Do you know what "nemesis" means? A righteous infliction of retribution manifested by an appropriate agent. Personified in this case by an 'orrible person... me.

Channel 4 for me
There will be little or no coverage on BBC this year - they will be sucking upo to the Olympic dream

RE: BBC
I know where people are coming from re: Sky's superior coverage, but I love those Saturday afternoons where I can just sit down and watch it on telly, rather than on a dodgy live stream link. Plus...

couldn't half give Claire Balding one.

"'SUID'? Yes... That's what they used to call me. 'Saint Until I Die'. That was my name. I am The Swede. And I come back to you now at the turn of the tide."
