3rd round results; I don't mean to sound childish, but...
...Tw*tto Heath got tw*tted! Big Grin

Austin Buchanan's five-try performance helped Championship Dewsbury to an 84-12 win over Heath in the 3rd round; and they weren't eve the biggest winners fo the round. No, that accolade goes to Halifax who beat amateurs Millom 94-4 away from home - their 90-point margin edging Featherstone's 86-12 success over Hunslet Old Boys in the scoring stakes. In addition, Lee Waterman scored a double hat-trick in Doncaster's 57-10 win over Sharlston. Elsewhere, Oldham only just managed to overcome the challenge of Cumbrian league Egremont by 22-14, and similarly Gateshead were narrow victors of York Acorn and Wath Brow came within 2 points of knocking off South wales of Championship 1. There were no real shocks per se, certainly not in terms of match outcomes, and all sides you would expect to go through to tonight's draw at Wigan for the fourth round are through.

Full results:
Egremont Rangers 14-22 Oldham Roughyeds
Doncaster 57-10 Sharlston Rovers
Gateshead 28-20 York Acorn
London Skolars 26-43 Leigh Centurions
Oulton Raiders 8-58 Sheffield Eagles
Wath Brow Hornets 22-24 South Wales Scorpions
North Wales Crusaders 28-10 Toulouse Olympique
Bradford Dudley Hill 6-58 Keighley Cougars
Hunslet Hawks 34-14 Royal Navy
Hunslet Old Boys 12-86 Featherstone Rovers
Swinton 66-0 Siddal
Barrow Raiders 32-22 FC Lezignan-Corbieres Sangliers
Dewsbury Rams 84-12 Thatto Heath Crusaders
East Hull 20-48 Rochdale Hornets
Myton Warriors 4-94 Halifax
Whitehaven 52-6 Hunslet Warriors
Workington 6-22 Batley Bulldogs
York City Knights 40-14 Hull Dockers

As said, the draw for the fourth round is made tonight at the DW Stadium.

I'm hoping that Wigan get South Wales Scorpions. It would be good to go down to South Wales for a weekend, especially if the weather is like this, while it would also be good for them to come up to the DW given the link between the two clubs.

Pity the French sides couldn't get through for that reason too.

I've known Lee since Primary school. He was a class player when in the amateurs and at York. He was BARLAs top player for a couple of years too. Glad to hear one of my old school mates doing so well.

millom were not in the third round but egremont did themselves proud and so did the crowd, oldham in my opinion, not being biased were very lucky, poor refereeing performance and a missed convesion and double well triple movement which was also short, cost the rangers. but i have to say they were unlucky to get the best side in champ 1 so far this season because if they got the likes of no offence to south wales, north wales and gateshead egremont would of won simple as. but congrats to oldham for getting through

every day's a gift and not a given right, leave no stone unturned and leave your fears behind.Tongue
