Warrington Wolves return to Carnegie Challenge Cup action this weekend when they play Bradford Bulls in the fifth round at The Halliwell Jones Stadium.

The last time the two sides met in the competition was in 2010 in the quarter finals at Odsal when the Wolves came away 26-22 winners in a close fought encounter. The Warrington side then went on to win the trophy for a second consecutive year.

The Stobart Super League meeting earlier this year also saw the Wolves take away the win on the road but with both sides competing in the top eight of the league another close game is on the cards on Saturday afternoon.

Wolves' head of coaching and rugby Tony Smith names his 19-man squad for the cup tie. The squad sees the return of Garreth Carvell following his two-match ban and also Michael Monaghan from injury.

Wolves Squad

4 Ryan Atkins
3 Chris Bridge
6 Lee Briers
10 Garreth Carvell
17 Mike Cooper
33 Brad Dwyer
15 Simon Grix
13 Ben Harrison
14 Micky Higham
20 Chris Hill
1 Brett Hodgson
21 Tyrone McCarthy
5 Joel Monaghan
9 Michael Monaghan
24 Gareth O'Brien
2 Chris Riley
11 Trent Waterhouse
12 Ben Westwood
16 Paul Wood

IF Wire have an off day, and that's a big if, then yes Bradford Bulls are capable of the win today, but realistically, I cant see past Warrington for this one.

Wondered where everyone was-there not at the game that's for sure!! Think I agree tripps-all that field possession and 10 behind through two silly errors

Bet potter is really glad Ben Jeffries was fit to play today!
