Danny Kirmond international class?
He reminds me very much of Gareth Ellis at a time when his big side-step was more of a threat than the big Mr Tickle offload game that developed further at the Rhinos. For me' Drift King' could slot straight into the second row if England wanted some pace and illusiveness in the forwards.

RE: Danny Kirmond international class?
I like him a lot. Really good forward, who I think would offer us a lot and something different if he got an England cap. Throw him in against the Exiles I say.
"'SUID'? Yes... That's what they used to call me. 'Saint Until I Die'. That was my name. I am The Swede. And I come back to you now at the turn of the tide." |

I've always liked kirmond- he always gives his best. In attack he's great, but his defence is a bit suspect at times.

RE: Danny Kirmond international class?
I played with Danny at Stanley Rangers for a few years. He was very committed to his rugby. Not really made an impact like I remember he can though. Iv seen him step it up a bit this season though. Not quite sure he's international class yet though.

You know what, I'm going to have to back track a bit on him, actually. I thought, for some bizarre reason, you meant Larne Patrick, and I got the two confused. He's decent, but not quite there yet. Patrick I would throw into the England side now.

Agreed SUID, Kirmond has the potential but not ready for the international stage .....but as for Patrick, I'd give him the opportunity against the Exiles and see how he performs .....hes such pace and ability it may provide real benefit to the England squad. |

Your thread is called, "Is DK "International" class" but your poll question says "Is DK England class?"
It's a bit confusing and/or misleading. WARNING: Farmduck posts may contain Sex scenes, Violence, Coarse Language, Nudity, Drug References and Adult Themes. Parental Guidance is recommended |
