Jordan Cox
Unfortunately Jordan Cox suffered a rupture spleen and serious internal bleeding in a tackle against Wigan U20's on Saturday. He had an emergency operation and is likely to be in Wigan hospital for a few days.

My dad spoke to his mam yesterday and she said doctors are happy with his progress. I am led to believe it was at one point life-threatening so thankfully he's come through ok.

Scary stuff, glad he is on the mend. Rugby certainly kept Wigan hospital busy over the weekend!

last time i was in wigan AandE, with what turned out to be a nasty scratch, there was a kid in about 14/15 fully kitted out with broken rib(s) and dislocated shoulder, and suspected broken collar bone. they must get loads through there doors.

Jesus tonight. Horrible stuff. Must've been one hell of a shot to do that. Best of luck to his recovery.

RE: Jordan Cox
He's on contract until 2014 so we won't be seeing the back of him just yet.
