They will all want one!
A French MP for London! Crazy! You can just see a few others weeping and wailing that they want to be represented too!

RE: They will all want one!
The Italian Parliament is one of the few legislatures in the world to reserve seats for citizens residing abroad. There are twelve such seats in the Chamber of Deputies and six in the Senate.
The Overseas Constituency consists of four electoral zones, each of which elect at least one Deputy and one Senator: Europe (including Russia and Turkey) South America North and Central America Africa, Asia, Oceania and Antarctica The remaining seats are distributed between the same overseas electoral zones in proportion to the number of Italian citizens resident in each. ************************************************************************************************ A lot of Australians have dual Ital/AUS citizenship, particularly handy if you want to work in the EU. I think there are over 220,000 AUS born in Italy and an even higher number of children and grandchildren of Italians who are all eligible for Italian citizenship. Could be up to 1 million votes so they're worth pandering to. WARNING: Farmduck posts may contain Sex scenes, Violence, Coarse Language, Nudity, Drug References and Adult Themes.
