FURIOUS GENTLE CALLS FOR 'ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT'
Hull FC coach Peter Gentle heaped criticism on his misfiring side following this afternoon's 32-30 loss to Wakefield Trinity Wildcats, calling for a major attitude adjustment from his troops.
The Black and Whites looked to have established a match-winning position for the third consecutive week when leading 30-10 with 20 minutes left on the clock at the Rapid Solicitors Stadium, only for a Wakefield fight back to condemn FC to another late defeat. Coming on the back of a last-minute loss to Hull KR at the Magic Weekend and a draw with St Helens last week, when a penalty in the final 60 seconds allowed the Saints to leave the KC Stadium with a point, Gentle couldn't contain his anger at his side. Speaking to http://www.hullfc.com, he said, "This is the most disappointed I have been as a coach this year and we have a heap of work to do in a lot of areas. "I thought our 20-point lead papered over a lot of cracks and some of the good things that Wakefield did. I wasn't happy at half-time and I had a word with the players at the break, but what I said will remain between ourselves. "We have lost our attitude in defence. I thought our discipline was poor and our kicking game was appalling. Looking at that game, you would think they were the top four side, not us. We need a real attitude adjustment." After watching Ali Lauitiiti score a fourth unanswered try for the Wildcats to seal a comeback in the final quarter, Gentle added, "There is not one aspect of that performance that I am happy with and there can be no excuses. "We need to be better than that, but we weren't and we haven't been for a few weeks now. It's now my job to make sure we improve, but we were poor in a lot of areas. "We are panicking when teams are putting us under pressure and we have a lot of work to do over the next few weeks." Drop Michael Jennings to Reserve Grade. It worked wonders for the Panthers.

RE: FURIOUS GENTLE CALLS FOR 'ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT'
Maybe if 'Ten Minute Tickle' didn't take an age over every kick or drop-out etc you'd carry some momentum???
