RE: NRL 55
I think the Cows can do the double here. They beat the Bronx at Suncorp with a last-minute Bowen try,

RE: NRL 55
Nth Qld $1.86 v Brisbane $1.96
The Cowboys won 28-26 in Brisbane in Round 2 but before that lost eight of the last nine. Brisbane has won 14 of 17 in Townsville and leads the head-to-head overall battle 24-6 (2 draws). The past eight matches between these sides have had at least 30 points scored, so you can expect to see plenty of points here. Both sides have players coming off Origin. At the odds and given the record between the teams, Brisbane looks value. http://blog.tomwaterhouse.com/nrl-round-...gn=Preview WARNING: Farmduck posts may contain Sex scenes, Violence, Coarse Language, Nudity, Drug References and Adult Themes. RE: NRL 55
dont know why premiersports havent gone for the dragons/bulldogs next up after this one also.
steady start from both sides. first blood to the broncos??? oh on second view he has 2 chances of getting that try, he will be having a sit down next week for that right hander surely. sound defence so far, both ends. something has to give... and despite a shocking kick from bowen the cowboys repel another wave from the broncos.both sides making easyish meters and both bombing the wingers who have all come up good. plenty opportunities to apply pressure at both ends just lacking a wee bit of something on the final ball. both sides making down the field sets but last defence been well tight innit. fantastic defence from both sides, especially the broncos. well, whaddyaknow, broncos camped on cows line, put up a kick to the corner and tate takes it clean to defuse the attack. what a half for defences. one end to the other kicks a plenty, but both ends well secure.

RE: NRL 55
might be surprised to learn that both defences are still on top.
mcguire...broncos....46 tackles in 54 minutes. one lazy bastard goal-line drop out broncos defuse a bomb again do the broncos. superb reverse pass from thurston, facing the wrong way, going the wrong way etc etc, bowen takes it and offloads to big lump to go over under the sticks. fuck all that kicking lark, running thru them scores points!!!! 6-0 63rd minute before the first points!!! awesome defence...did i mention the defence?? awesome especially from kicks

RE: NRL 55
oh jesus, unbelievable.
keeping it alive...lol kick from the broncos and bowen takes on his boots to defuse the threat, another kick taken. what a great game...lol. defence right on top. kick thru on the last for the broncos, but oh, almost, just too long for norman. gonna get nowt with kicks in this game. defence will see to that. thurston puts up the bomb again and norman claims it. he should listen to me. kick thru on the deck from thurston and norman takes it but is bundled into touch by the cows. kicks are the way to go in this game. cows scrum, 10 out thats the way to do it, keep it in the hands an off the feet. quick hands along the line , cheeky wee injection of pace from bowen and bobs ur uncle. 10-0. kick to come thurston (79% career kicker). makes it 12-0 3mins out. cows have it from the kick off broncos nilled... rare event. kick thru taken clean by tamou, . what a defensive effort by the cows and the broncos game ends with a fine defensive play by the cows. what a great game. this week has been smashin. cowboys 12-0 over the broncos.

RE: NRL 55
What a defensive knock from the Cows, and the Broncos for that matter. Unbelievable. I that was a Super League game, it they would've buckled after about 5 minutes and it would've ended 46-44 or something like that.
Bulldogs up 28-20 on the Dragons after 78. "'SUID'? Yes... That's what they used to call me. 'Saint Until I Die'. That was my name. I am The Swede. And I come back to you now at the turn of the tide." |

RE: NRL 55
The other game was very weird. Dogs were up 18-0 after 15 minutes and St George looked like they'd never been to an RL game before - even Jason Nightingale made a handling error on his own line. The Dogs were so dominant Graham didn't come on until after the 20 minute mark because the forwards hadn't had to do anything. It was 22-6 at half time.
In the second half the Dragons started throwing the ball around and scored some brilliant tries but, too little, too late. I wonder how many times twins have scored tries in a game while playing against each other.
