Tommy is out for the rest of the season according to his brother MacGraff on Twitter.
That's an awful way to bow out. He's been fantastic for Wigan over the last 5 years. ![]() |

RE: Leuluai
I imagine so. It's about 8 months until the start of next season if I'm not mistaken and I think a broken ankle should be healed within that time. Ligament damage is usually what keeps players out for longer.

RE: Leuluai
Nope, Tommy loves Wigan so much that he couldn't bear to be anything other than a Warrior
![]() He was linked with a move to the Rabbitohs but he's definitely heading back to New Zealand. Finch might be joining Maguire though as nothing has been confirmed with him other than the fact he's leaving Wigan. ![]() |

RE: Leuluai
It's a bummer of a way to end his SL career... always had a lot of time for him as a player.
However... he was coming in with his knees on Ryan Hall and did it to himself.... are we going to get Phil Clarke's lecture on the "rugby Gods" again or does that only apply AGAINST Wigan? Team Fluff - Rhinos for Life ![]() Tatt's prediction league 2012 hubcap winner! Only a GF losers medal though |

RE: Leuluai
I don't think so. I'm no expert but I don't think ankle breaks have a massive effect on future performance. In fact I don't think broken bones usually provide too much to worry about after they've healed.
The worst injuries to suffer in the long term seem to be knee ligament and Achilles injuries. Even Wiganers know he talks absolute crap. He's an ex-Wiganer but it's not like he speaks on behalf of Wigan fans. ![]() |
