http://runningrugby.com/people-and-jobs/...-with-ceo/
sign of another club in financial difficulty? 13 June 2012 by RR Editor Salford City Reds chief executive David Tarry has left the club due to redundancy. Tarry, who worked with the club for almost 30 years said, “I have enjoyed my time with the club immensely and wish them nothing but success both on and off the field.” John Wilkinson, Salford City Red’s Chairman said: “we are thankful for his efforts, we wish him well in the next stage of his career.” RR asked the club to clarify the re-structuring implications of making their chief executive redundant, but we have yet to hear further details. the future's bright - the future is claret and gold. |

RE: reds CEO made redundant
I was thinking the same thing, Jools. Another club seemingly desperately trying to cut costs at every level. I'm not going to read too much into it at this early stage, but I get the feeling that Bradford was just the proverbial 'Helm's Deep' of the situation; the battle for rugby league is about to begin.
"'SUID'? Yes... That's what they used to call me. 'Saint Until I Die'. That was my name. I am The Swede. And I come back to you now at the turn of the tide." |
