Sunday served up the worst performance from the team this season.

You can try and put a positive spin on it if you like, but we were very poor.

Our passing was slack, we gave up too much ball and basically looked like we just couldn't get into it.

The atmosphere was also very quiet, which is surprising.

I know we have injuries to our top players in Kris Welham, Ben Galea and Rhys Lovegrove but we shouldn't be using this as an excuse. We need to be in a position whereby an injuries occurs and we simply stick a good lad in there. If we can't do that, you can then question squad depth.

Joel Clinton couldn't be arsed, so he sat it out.

Next up is the big one but not before a week off. We could probably do with it, too.

That was the most dissapointed ive felt for a long time at Craven Park.The Cats game was a lottery with the weather but that was just a lazy we've took them for granted display.Have to umprove again Gateshull
