Five changes to FC squad for Cup clash
Hull Fc Friday 13 Apr 2012 6:15pm
Hull FC head coach Peter Gentle has been boosted by the return of centre Tony Martin and prop Sam Moa to his squad for Sunday’s fourth round Challenge Cup tie against Huddersfield Giants.
Martin missed both games over the Easter period with a neck injury while Moa was given permission to return to Australia on compassionate grounds, but the experienced duo look set to feature in Sunday’s knock-out tie against the Super League table-toppers at the KC Stadium.Â
They are joined by youngsters Chris Green, Reece Lyne and Ben Crooks as part of five changes to Gentle’s 19-man squad in the face of a mounting injury list for the Black and Whites.
Kirk Yeaman, Richard Horne, Martin Aspinwall and young prop Josh Bowden are the latest players to be ruled out of action, while Lee Radford will go back to his assistant coach role following the return of Moa and Green to the squad.
Hull FC squad:
Briscoe, Crooks, Ellis, Green, Houghton, Kent, Lynch, Lyne, Manu, Martin, McKinnon, Moa, Nicklas, Pitts, Seymour, Sharp, Tickle, Turner, Whiting
