Tuesday 16 Feb 2016 5:42pm

After recording their second biggest crowd in four years (excluding derby games) against Salford, Hull FC are targeting a record Thursday night crowd for a non-derby fixture when they face Castleford next week!

Fans continue to snap up tickets for next week's Thursday Thriller against Castleford Tigers as the Black and Whites look to extend their unbeaten start to 2016.

After both the East and South Stands sold out for the Round 1 Super League fixture against Salford Red Devils, which FC won 42-20, the club hope they can follow it up with a record Thursday night crowd for a non-derby fixture.

The previous highest Thursday evening attendances were 10,887 when Leeds Rhinos visited the KC Stadium last season, as well as a 10,787 crowd for a match against Wigan later that year.

Hull FC have met Castleford on a Thursday once before in Super League in 2014, when a crowd of 9.959 watched an eventful 18-18 draw.

After a busy few days of ticket sales following Saturday's stunning win against Catalans, the crowd already looks set to surpass that previous total, with eyes now firmly set on the gates recorded against Leeds and Wigan.

Tickets are on general sale for the match which takes place on Thursday 25th February at 8pm, with adult tickets starting from £18 and juniors from £8.

Fans who buy in advance save compared to match day prices, whilst members can also buy at exclusive rates.

With two stands selling out at the last game fans are strongly encourage to buy in advance to avoid extremely busy periods on match day.

You can buy tickets from the club retail stores, online at ticketing.hullfc.com or by calling 01482 505 600
