Lovegrove staying with Robins

Rhys Lovegrove will be staying with the Robins until the end of the 2015 season having signed a new three-year deal with the club.
With his current contract due to expire at the end of this season the club moved quickly to tie him to a deal that will take him through to nine years’ service at MS3 Craven Park.
Currently working his way back to fitness, Lovegrove is delighted to have got his future sorted and admitted that staying with the Robins was always his first wish.
“I always wanted to stay here,”
Head Coach Craig Sandercock is happy to have secured Lovegrove’s services for the next three seasons and believes that there is still plenty to come from him.
“Rhys is only 25 and his best years are ahead of him which is why we’ve given him three years,” Sandercock said. “We think he can go on and really establish himself as a vital member of our team.
“He is a consummate professional who prepares well every week and can play in a number of different roles. He’s already done that for us this year and I’d expect him to rise to another level next season.”
