McGuire out of Wembley squad

Leeds Rhinos have been dealt a massive blow less than two weeks before the Carnegie Challenge Cup Final with the news that England international Danny McGuire has been ruled out of action for six to eight weeks.
The 29-year-old, who is the joint leading try scorer of all time in Super League, suffered a knee injury in last Friday's Stobart Super League win over Widnes Vikings and scans have confirmed the extent of the injury.
Commenting on the news Head Coach Brian McDermott said, "We are absolutely devastated for Danny that he will miss out on Wembley. This is the worst possible news that we could have received less than a fortnight before the Final and clearly we will have to have a major rethink about our tactics going into the game. I have spoken recently about Danny and the outstanding season he has had for us this year and he will be a big loss for the Final. The injury is not related to his previous reconstruction and it was an innocuous clash however the scans have revealed the extent and it will need up to eight weeks recovery time."
