Rhinos Launch New Look 2017 Hull FC Away Shirt

Friday 11 Nov 2016 6:43pm
Leeds Rhinos have launched their new look away kit for 2017 which is predominantly navy, similar to the away kit the team wore a decade ago when they won the first of three back to back Super League titles.

The kit features a royal blue band of narrow hoops across the chest and silver narrow hoops along the bottom half and across the shoulder. The design is completed by royal blue trim around the sleeve and along the hem.

The away shirt features the logo of major partners Leeds Building Society on the front for the eleventh successive season and ten years on since the Leeds Building Society logo first appeared on the Rhinos kit in 2007. This continues the record of it being the longest partnership in the Betfred Super League. There is also a special logo to celebrate Ryan Hall’s testimonial year with the club. As part of his testimonial, £1 from every shirt sold will be donated to Hall’s testimonial fund by the club.

The shirt will be available in store at Headingley Carnegie from 9am on Saturday 12th November or online at www.therhinos.co.uk/store now in adult sizes XS to 6XL and ladies sizes 8-18 with prices frozen at £46.99 whilst a cotton version in XS to 4XL is £47.99. Junior shirts are available in sizes age 6 to 16 priced £36.99 whilst toddlers shirts aged 0-4 are £29.99. Replica shorts available in junior and adults sizes from £22.99. Replica socks will also be available in adult and junior sizes from £9.99.

The front of the shirt also features the logos of associate partners Global and Berrys along with official kit suppliers ISC. The sleeves have the branding of Leeds Beckett University with two more partners on the back of the shirt with Quest joined by LSS Waste Management. The playing shirt will also feature the logo of new associate partners FPS on the collar. As with the home kit, the socks and shorts also feature the logo of SMUK.

Rhinos captain Danny McGuire commented, “I think the shirt looks great especially the navy colour. The colour reminds me a lot of the 2007 away shirt which I know was really popular with fans and of course has fond memories for a lot of us because we wore it in the Grand Final that year.”
