BBC 5 Live Breakfast to host Challenge Cup quarter-final draw

The draw for the quarter-finals of the 2012 Carnegie Challenge Cup will take place live on BBC Radio 5 Live on Tuesday May 1.

The eight winning teams from this weekend’s fifth round ties will go into the velvet bag for the draw, which will be conducted by 5 Live Breakfast presenters Nicky Campbell and Rachel Burden at around 8.20am.

The quarter-finals will be played over the weekend of May 12 and 13 with select matches to be televised live on BBC Sport and Sky Sports, full details of which will be circulated following the draw. Radio 5 Live and 5 Live Extra will also feature extensive coverage from the quarter-final ties.

Tickets for the 2012 Carnegie Challenge Cup Final at Wembley Stadium on Saturday August 25 cost from just £21 and are now on sale. Family tickets giving access to one of British sport’s most historic fixtures to two adults and two children are also available, priced £55 or £79.
